Designed for critical listeners in professional fields
With an extraordinary world-first 18 balanced armature drivers design per earpiece, the U18t is 64 Audio’s top-of-the-line reference in-ear monitor built to impress all listeners. This industry-first design pushes the limits of what a reference monitor can do with mind-blowing detail, expansion, and unmatched resolution over the whole frequency spectrum, combined with a powerful low-end and expanded sub-bass.
The U18t resembles its custom counterpart, the A18t, which is favored by critical listeners in engineering, monitoring & mixing, and audiophile listeners.
Each ergonomically designed shell is machined out of a solid piece of aluminum and finished with an exquisite copper-patinated inlay on the faceplates.
18 Drivers, 4-Way Passive Crossover Technology
Engineered to bring out the highest resolution and extract every single detail in the music. The U18t houses 18 balanced armature drivers – 8 drivers for the lows and 8 for the mids, 1 for the higher mid-range and 1 that handles the rest in the upper frequencies. Together, they’re like a small orchestra in your ears.
The result of this 18-driver configuration is an extremely wide frequency response range and high sensitivity measured at 106 dB/mW @ 1kHz.
Resonance-Free Design
Tubeless In-Ear Audio (tia) is a patented IEM design methodology that aims to reduce unwanted resonance and distortion for a transparent and lifelike sound signature. The tia system is comprised of three major elements: open balanced armature tia drivers, the tia single-bore design, and tia acoustic chambers. U18t features two major elements of the tia system: the tia driver and the tia single-bore design.
Apex Venting Technology
Air Pressure Exchange (Apex) is a patented vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal all while retaining standard IEM levels of isolation; enabling musicians and music enthusiasts to listen more comfortably for longer. This venting alleviates listener fatigue and allows for a much more realistic soundstage. Apex comes in three module variations for U18t: mX, m15 and m20.
