Planar magnetostatic sound in an IEM

The planar magnetostatic driver represents a modern development in the world of IEMs and is renowned for its precision, speed and power. With its large, flat and rapidly vibrating diaphragm, it can produce both powerful and subtle nuances with complex reproduction – a feature that conventional BAs and dynamic drivers cannot offer. This all-new planar design has successfully overcome the traditional challenges of low efficiency and sensitivity to deliver an incredible sound experience for in-ear monitor users.

Supermoon is the first Campfire IEM to utilize a 14mm planar driver for the entire frequency range. This gives it a truly unique sound signature within our broad range. The combination of cone size and speed provides a powerful, consistent and accurate bass foundation. At the same time, the Supermoon offers crisp detail resolution across the frequency spectrum and impressive high-end detail.

Complete individual comfort or universal fit

Fly from coast to coast or perform on stage – the Campfire Audio Supermoon always fits perfectly! Hours of listening pleasure without fatigue. We offer three options for customization: Universal Fit and customized Custom In Ears in two variations: Audiophile Fit and Artist Fit.

Universal Fit
Unlike the custom-fit versions of the Supermoon, this is the Universal-fit Supermoon, which differs from the custom-fit version by having a universal fit and the use of silicone tips. This version of the Supermoon is therefore more versatile.

Audiophile Fit offers a lower sealing depth. We have optimized the fit and removed the unnecessary length of conventional in-ear monitors for the stage. This fit is exceptionally comfortable and offers a pleasant wearing experience. This fit is great for everyday use, whether on the way to work or in the studio.

Artist Fit offers a more traditional seal depth to provide the necessary acoustic isolation and added security you need for demanding on-stage performances. This fit is great for professional musicians as it extends into the ear canal for an optimal seal.

Solid-body design

Simple. Solid. Outstanding sound. Unique to our custom in-ear monitors is the patent-pending solid-body design of the earphones. Every in-ear monitor starts with your ear impression.

Through our special process, we manipulate the inner acoustic chamber of the Campfire Audio Supermoon design and place it in an optimal position within the shape of your ear impression. This also gives us the ability to optimize the performance of the headphones for your ear. The result of our efforts is a better sounding, better fitting in-ear monitor for you.

When manufacturing the earphone’s solid housing, the design is 3D printed as a single component before being painstakingly finished by hand. Because the earphone design is created before printing, the only moving part in Supermoon is the membrane. This also means that the earphones you receive will be a robust and reliable partner.

If you want to get the most out of your universal-fit in-ears, go for Tailormade custom eartips. As opposed to regular silicone or foam eartips, Tailormade eartips are made to fit exactly your ears and the in-ear model of your choice. This means better sound (due to better isolation), better fit and better comfort. Even more, Tailormade eartips are very durable and hygienic and you can use them with many in-ear models.

As opposed to those, you can still share your universal-fit-in-ears with others – and even sell them, should you ever want to upgrade.
