What a match: Glaetzer Amon Ra & Meze Empyrean / ALO Studio Six

In our off-topic section, we show stuff we like, even if they have nothing to do with headphones – mainly wine, craft-beer and whisky that go with great music! Last night’s perfect match after a MTB-ride and dinner was David Gilmour’s “Live at Pompeji” on the Meze Empyrean / ALO Studio Six, together with a glass (or two) of Glaetzer’s 2005 Amon Ra. While the audio devices need no introduction, the wine is just as brilliant. Grand and fully-bodied like the Empyrean, Studio Six and the concert. But it was far away from being yammy like some other Aussie Shiraz. The Ebenezer terroir adds great spice and freshness. What a perfect evening!
