The selection and handling of wood is a very challenging task that requires the utmost precision. In order to emphasize the rich colour of walnut it necessitates the use of air drying. A time-consuming and costly process which takes nearly 8 hours to shape just a single pair of wooden earcups.

On top of that, the sanding, lacquering, and finishing procedure also takes up to 45 days, which makes it one of the most time-consuming-to-build headphones. In the end, the wooden components are thoroughly examined, to ensure the finest details are up to perfect standard.

Wood parts used in creating Meze products are only made from fine selected wood that has a certificate of origin, and from trees which have reached the end of their live cycle.
