Product Description
JH Audio – Angie
The audio signature is reference quality with the same 4th order crossover network as Layla. Angie’s dual low, dual mid, and quad high configuration gives a very accurate representation of whatever source it has to reproduce.
Designed for optimum top-end extension with minimal distortion. The mid driver is perfectly flat from 10hz to 5khz. The low driver is designed for steeper low passes and with virtually no distortion. Bass response is perfectly flat when attenuated or up to +10 dB of bass boost at 60hz when boosted.
JH Audio – Angie Design Features
Utilizing the Freqphase time-phase WaveGuide, the JH Audio Angies 3-Way Crossover Splits the audio signal into separate frequency bands that can be routed to each micro driver through triple-bore channels. Each Angie is a unique hand-built creation based on custom ear molds made just for your ears.
JH Audio Angies feature Dual Low, Dual Mid, and Quad High balanced armature drivers per side. They have variable bass output, adjustable from the cable, allowing the user to control the low-frequency drivers with the adjustable bass (0-15db). The frequency ranges from flat bass response up to +15db (10Hz to 100Hz).
The JH Angie, like all JH Audio custom in-ear monitors, provides -26dB isolation, eliminating stage volume. And ambient noise – essential for performing musicians and audiophiles alike. This extreme ability to block outside sounds enhances the listening experience and allows lower listening levels, reducing the potential for hearing damage.
JH Audio – Angie High-Quality Audio
Soundrive Technology utilizes Jerry Harvey’s proprietary mini quad drivers. This allows our Custom IEMs to remain smaller in size while housing up to 12 drivers per side. The Acoustic Sound Chamber is a 3D-printed, recessed tubing system that is the first of its kind, keeping sweat at bay and alleviating the need for excessive cleaning.
The Angie may have a warm and thick sound, but the sound is quite spacious and has good width and air. The treble presence greatly helps these from sounding closed in. There is excellent stereo imaging too, with very accurate placement of instruments within the soundstage.
This is definitely one for those who enjoy a fuller and bolder sound signature. But don’t want to lose the midrange and treble. The JH Audio Angies are incredibly engaging, yet crisp and detailed at the same time. And it also makes them a very accomplished hybrid earphone.
The Angie, like all JH Audio custom in-ear monitors, provides –26dB of isolation, eliminating stage volume and ambient noise – essential for both performing musicians and audiophiles. This extreme ability to block outside sounds enhances the listening experience and allows lower listening levels, reducing the potential for hearing damage.
