At its heart lies the ESS Sabre ES9038PRO, implemented with Ferrum’s proprietary current-to-voltage conversion stage and carefully tuned analog output section. The result is a presentation defined by precision, dynamic authority, and long-term listening comfort.

Finely Tuned Digital Architecture

Central to WANDLA’s design is Ferrum’s proprietary SERCE digital audio module — an optimized ARM-based platform engineered to minimize signal path complexity and eliminate five redundant chips typically required in comparable designs.

The architecture supports:

• PCM up to 768 kHz / 32-bit
• DSD up to DSD512
• Full MQA® decoding and rendering on all digital inputs

Dynamic Digital Filtering

WANDLA offers three ESS digital filters as standard. In addition, Ferrum introduced — as a world first — custom filters created by Signalyst, known for the HQPlayer platform.

These proprietary filters expand tonal flexibility while maintaining coherence and phase integrity. Further refinements are planned in collaboration with the user community.

An RCA analog input allows WANDLA to function as a fully balanced preamplifier. The signal is converted to balanced topology at the first stage.

WANDLA features a fully balanced, modified IC pre-amplifier stage, carefully fine-tuned for transparency and stability. The design philosophy remains clear: preserve resolution, maintain control, and avoid listening fatigue.

Made for HYPSOS

WANDLA performs at an exceptionally high level with its included 24 VDC adapter. However, when paired with the Ferrum Audio HYPSOS via the proprietary Ferrum Power Link (FPL) and 4TSD voltage sensing, performance elevates further.

The unique four-wire design delivers power and feedback simultaneously, minimizing cable resistance effects and improving transient response and current delivery speed.
