When the Tilia project was initiated, the objective was to create a distinct Bacillus variant with enhanced electronic specifications, promising more verve and clarity. Utilizing available linden wood, known for its significance in Slovenian art, the team conducted experiments to harness its dynamic qualities. Bacillus Tilia serves as a homage to Slovenian heritage, symbolized by the linden tree.

Inspired by the vision of listeners in an antique study surrounded by books, the design features an artificially aged, dark wooden chassis, radiating sophistication. The front panel, resembling a vintage concert piano, maintains the classic Bacillus style.

Grounded in the original Bacillus technology, Tilia boasts improvements in chassis, top-tier input capacitors, and op-amps. What sets Bacillus Tilia apart is its individually hand-carved chassis, painted with seven coats of four varnishes, creating distinctive patterns for each unit.
