On March 2, 2024, the “World of Headphones” will open its doors in the unique ambience of the Tankturm in Heidelberg. This exclusive headphone trade fair is the offshoot of the renowned high-end trade fair and offers audiophile enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the latest innovations in headphones, headphone amplifiers, portable solutions and IEM. All the well-known brands are represented and allow interested visitors to put their products through their paces.
The “World of Headphones” promises a unique experience for audiophiles and music lovers. Immerse yourself in the world of first-class audio technology, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and discover the fascinating fusion of music, technology and enjoyment.
Venue
The event will therefore take place both in the Tankturm Heidelberg and in the Headphone Pleasuredome of the Headphone Shop, around 200 meters away. These two extraordinary locations provide the ideal backdrop for the presentation of high-quality audio products.
In addition to the best of today’s audio technology, our Headphone museum is ready for a tour – here you will find milestones in the history of headphones and even some treasures, including an Urjecklin from 1972, an AKG K1000 from 1989 and much more.

Great supporting program
As always, the latest line-up of the best headphones and in-ears awaits critical ears at the World of Headphones.
At two brilliant locations – including our Headphone Shop Pleasuredome with Headphone Museum – headphone fans in particular and hi-fi fans in general can listen to the world’s best headphones, IEMs, digital audio players and amplifiers on March 2, 2024. In addition, the fantastic speakers from Kii will be available to try out in the Headphone Shop. The Kii team will present Kii Three/BTX and for the first time the brand new Kii Seven.
World premiere
We are pleased to present two world premieres at the World of Headphones! On the one hand, the two new Raal 1995 headphones Immanis & Magna will be presented to the public for the first time – directly from the developer!
In addition, Erzetich will be on site to present exclusive new products to the public alongside the well-known headphones and amplifiers!

The Headphone Museum
In addition to the best of today, our headphone museum is ready for a tour – here you will find milestones in the history of headphones and even some gems, including an Urjecklin from 1972, an AKG K1000 from 1989 and much more. And as a special treat, the Sennheiser Orpheus is ready and waiting to be heard!
Another highlight of music history awaits you in the “Pleasuredome”: an original Wurlitzer jukebox from 1947, restored and equipped with modern music. An absolute highlight of music history!
Kii Audio – Experience incredible sound!
We are actually 100% specialized in headphones & co., but with Kii Audio we have been unfaithful to our line for once, but with full conviction. The fantastic speakers from Kii are available to try out in the Headphoneshop. The Kii team itself will be presenting the Kii THREE / Kii THREE BXT models and, for the first time, the brand new Kii Seven.
The Dark Side of Wine … and beer!
Of course, in addition to the countless musical delicacies, there will also be the finest supporting program: Pure pleasure not only for the ears – but also for the eyes and stomach! Among other things, you can look forward to a musical wine and craft beer tasting with the participation of one of the world’s leading sommeliers and a master brewer.
Vintage watches
Zeitgeist is not only the motto of our unique IEM brand, but also fits in with another item on the program: lovers of exclusive watches can look forward to an exclusive exhibition of vintage watches, which rounds off the varied program. Perhaps Germany’s finest address for vintage watches & modern classics provides an overview of the finest watches and their history.
After-work get-together
We end the day together with a beer, wine or a great meal. Get into conversation with other aficionados, distributors and reviewers or simply enjoy the great atmosphere. Culinary delights will be served at the barbecue, which will include delicious rib-eye steaks in a whisky marinade and a variety of delicacies such as selected types of bread, antipasti and much more.

Due to limited space, free registration is required for the wine tasting, the Kii demonstration and a guided tour of the museum by Thomas Halbgewachs. You can find the registration links below!
Heidelberg is always worth a visit
The city of Heidelberg, known for its picturesque old town, is not only the ideal venue for the “World of Headphones”, but also worth a visit. The old town is within walking distance, and a unique headphone museum awaits visitors in the Headphonecompany store.
During your stay in Heidelberg, it is worth exploring some of the city’s fascinating sights. These include Heidelberg Castle, one of Germany’s most famous ruins, and the Old Bridge over the Neckar. The Philosopher’s Paths offer a breathtaking view of the city and the Karzer, a former student prison, provides an insight into historical student life.
Art lovers should pay a visit to the Kunsthalle Heidelberg, which presents contemporary art exhibitions. The botanical garden of Heidelberg University is a peaceful place for nature lovers, and the Jesuit Church impresses with its baroque architecture.
The “World of Headphones” thus not only offers unique audio experiences, but also the opportunity to discover the cultural and historical treasures of Heidelberg.

How to get to the Tankturm in Heidelberg
By Car
Coming by car from the A5 freeway, take the Heidelberg exit onto the B535 and drive onto Speyerer Straße in the direction of Heidelberg Zentrum. At the next major traffic lights, turn left into Diebsweg (there is a Leonardo Hotel on the right-hand side). At the end of Diebsweg, turn right onto Eppelheimer Straße. You will find the TANKTURM on the left-hand side. The entrance to the building is behind the BAUHAUS opposite the K&K gas station.
You can reach the Headphone Shop with Pleasuredome and Museum on foot (approx. 200m). It is located directly next to the Eppelheimer Terrasse stop.

Parking facilities
In the immediate commercial neighborhood there is a large number of free parking spaces.
By Train / Public Transportation
Take the train to Heidelberg main station.
Change to streetcar 22 and get off at Eppelheimer Terrasse.
Cross Eppelheimer Straße at the K&K petrol station and follow the road between Bauhaus and Kölle Zoo. You will automatically walk towards the TANKTURM.
The Headphone Shop with Pleasuredome and Museum is located directly at the Eppelheimer Terrasse stop.
