A Modern Evolution of a Classic
The Ori 3.0 revives the spirit of the original Ori, but with more authority, versatility, and refinement. Featuring an 80 mm planar-magnetic diaphragm on an ultra-thin 6 µm Kapton® film, the Ori 3.0 delivers exceptional speed, texture, and control. The integration of ZMF’s CAMS (Caldera Asymmetrical Magnet Structure) provides powerful driver control and dynamics, while the ADS (Atrium Damping System)shapes rear-wave tuning for a natural, organic response.
Acoustic Flexibility and Personalization
The Ori 3.0 isn’t just a headphone—it’s a tuning platform. With Caldera ear pads(included in lambskin, suede, or hybrid options) and a unique tuning peg system(ported or solid), listeners can create up to 27 possible voicings. Whether you want vintage warmth, a neutral reference, or a lively and energetic presentation, the Ori 3.0 adapts without the need for EQ.
Sound Signature
The ZMF Ori 3.0 combines the slam of the original with the refinement of modern planar design. Expect thunderous sub-bass, a liquid and immersive midrange, and a smooth, airy treble that never feels fatiguing. With its dynamic punch and spatial layering, the Ori 3.0 is equally engaging for critical listening and emotional musical immersion.
Craftsmanship and Design
Each Ori 3.0 is handcrafted from torrefied Black Limba hardwood, kiln-roasted to achieve both stability and a striking natural grain. The 500 g chassis is available in aluminum (standard) or magnesium (upgrade) for a lighter feel. True to ZMF tradition, the Ori 3.0 combines artisanal woodworking with a robust, serviceable design built to last a lifetime.
