Penta means five drivers
Through the use of Penta Hybrid technology, we are able to provide harmonized sound frequencies without the need to compensate for phase problems. Sound from the transducers must travel through the housing, nozzle, and ear tip assembly before it can reach your eardrums.
The extremely specific and exact length of each sound tube, which essentially controls the air volume in front of each driver in particular, allows for the smooth operation of five drivers. In comparison to conventional plastic tube and dampener systems, which are frequently used in multi-driver assemblies, our design removes flaws that may be found in these systems.
A chassis made entirely of metal
The high-precision CNC aluminum chassis has been carefully machined from solid aluminum. And it provides an ideal environment for the music to be properly directed to the inner ear directly and without distortion. Moreover, airflow management, achieved via our highly adjusted PES design in front and behind the driver assembly, aids in the regulation of internal chamber pressure.
A superb in-ear deserves superb cables for Meze – Rai Penta
Firstly, the use of silver-plated copper wires and beautifully carved metal plug shells guarantees that the cable assembly will remain robust and dependable for a long period. Secondly, there are four wires. Each wire makes up of a total of 20 litz strands. Finally, for the greatest connection and longevity, MMCX plugs are of the highest quality, with plug terminations.

Everything is there and well-balanced as far as sonic performance is concerned: a deep, rapid bass, rich mids, and crisp highs, to name a few. Is it the one and only, the best-sounding in-ear monitor on the market? No. There are numerous choices available at the same (high) level. What distinguishes the Rai Penta from the competition is the exquisite fit and build quality. Meze definitely nailed it with this one! The Pentas are very comfortable, and they both look and feel like a work of art.
