Conventional in-ear monitors (IEMs) often lack depth and emotion, as they can only reproduce part of the sound spectrum. The ability to make music perceptible and tangible is missing.
When you listen to music through loudspeakers, you perceive the sound in two ways: air conduction and bone conduction. Air conduction sound represents the sound you hear through your eardrum, while bone conduction sound is perceived through your body. The famous “pressure in the stomach” with loud bass. The term hybrid sound conduction refers to the fact that both types of sound perception, via air and bone conduction, are possible.
