This special batch of LTD Edition Olive wood is the first batch ever made at ZMF to use this extremely rare, beautiful, and dense wood. The first thing ZMF noticed while working with the olive tree is how great it feels when smooth sanded. The texture is like effortless velvet, which makes this Verite Closed wood our favorite that can only be held in the hand and admired.

With its 2700 Janka rating, it’s at the top end of the tree’s density, but still retains a touch of “decay” in the sound world, making listening fast, immersive, and natural. The solid weight of the low head and the speed due to the inherent density of the olive will make you admire the sound as much as it looks!
