The new decoder chip: The SRM-D10 II has a better decoder chip, which now uses the AKM 4493 instead of the ESS 9018.
Native DSD support: On the SRM-D10 II, the USB input now supports native DSD hardware decoding, providing a direct path for DSD audio streams. Due to system limitations, DOP output remains the standard on Mac iOS systems.
Extended PCM support: The SRM-D10 II extends its capabilities by offering PCM support for 384kHz/32bit on the USB output – a significant jump over the original SRM-D10 with 192kHz/24bit. This allows you to enjoy high-resolution audio data in even greater detail.
Improved components: In the SRM-D10 II, many resistors and capacitors that have a direct impact on sound quality have been replaced with Samsung components. In addition, both the tubes and capacitors have been improved, resulting in a more refined and immersive listening experience.
Clarity and openness: One of the main goals of the SRM-D10 II was to solve the problem of sound muddiness that occurred with the older version over time. The result is a clearer and brighter sound profile with subtle adjustments that ensure consistently vibrant audio reproduction.
Long battery life: With a battery life of approx. 4.5 hours (analog input) / 3.5 hours (digital input), your customers can use the SRM-D10 II on the go for a long time.
