The A&norma series is designed to realize Astell&Kern’s premium sound in a compact cabinet size with premium features. The SR25 MKII, the previous model in the series, was loved by audio enthusiasts and beginners alike thanks to its portable size and fantastic sound.

The Astell&Kern SR35 inherits these strengths while utilizing the same proven amplifier and audio design used in Astell&Kern’s premium products.

The ultra-compact SR35 offers 20 hours of continuous playback, utilizes a premium Quad DAC and two-stage gain control, as well as a new generation of amplifiers.

The SR35 also utilizes the latest user interface with improved graphics and usability to deliver a more immersive music experience. In addition, the SR35 is equipped with Roon Ready and MQA full decoder support to further enhance the performance of the A&norma line.

Quad DAC mode for true Hi-Fi sound

For the first time in the A&norma series, the SR35 utilizes Cirrus Logic’s CS43198 DAC in Quad DAC configuration.

In addition, a new audio circuit design has been implemented that utilizes Astell&kern’s unique technologies together with the Quad DAC and patented TERATON ALPHA technology for outstanding dynamics, spaciousness, resolution and separation.

In addition, the latest amplification circuitry from A&K’s flagship products has been implemented.

A dual/quad DAC switching mode is offered, allowing users to customize and improve power management efficiency and further enhance the long continuous playtime, a core feature of the A&norma series.

The SR35 supports native DSD256 and PCM playback of up to 32-bit/384 kHz, enabling true hi-fi sound without limitations and free from distortion.

The KANN ULTRA introduces the innovative Crimson user interface, marking the first appearance of this interface in the KANN series.
